Use a nut property class equal to the first number of the bolt class: class 8 nut for an 8.8 bolt, class 10 for 10.9 and class 12 for 12.9. Confirm finish compatibility too, especially with zinc-flake coatings.
The nylon insert loses some prevailing torque each time it is removed. For critical or vibration-loaded joints, replace nylock nuts after removal.
Thread size, panel thickness and the square hole size in the panel, so the cage clips seat correctly.
